Elijah Martel is a multidisciplinary artist, zinester, and comics illustrator based in St. John’s, NL/Ktaqmkuk. Elijah’s live drawings have covered events ranging from rugby games to conferences to queer burlesque nights. They have appeared as a presenting artist at Lawnya Vawnya, the Labrador Creative Arts Festival, Queering the Arts, and The Rooms’ summer spotlight series, and will be returning in June 2026 to draw comics reviews for the Nickel Independent Film Festival.
